Mehdi Bendimerad is the founder and CEO of SPS; a company specialized in building with new materials and has worked with US companies on transferring technical manufacturing and construction know how. He has been working to introduce and popularize other building materials trough the concept “build different” In the past two years, SPS has extended its production to the manufacture of metal sandwich panel and portable buildings. SPS is certified ISO 9001/2008 for its quality management system. Mehdi studied economics and construction management in France and California and worked several years in the US before going back to Algeria in 2000 to start his own business. He is a founding member of Casbah Business Angels, the Algeria’s premier angel investor organization, launched in 2012. He chaired the PNB-NAPEO (Partners for a New Beginning-North Africa Partnership for Economic Opportunity) Algeria Local Chapter from 2013 to 2015. Since 2011, he is a member of the Executive committee of the FCE-Forum des Chefs d'Entreprise (the prominent employers' organization) and Chairman of the Commission " International Relations " since 2014. He is appointed Vice President in 2016. In 2020 he joined the Solar Energy Cluster as a member of the board of directors.
